Innovation Corridor APPG
Virtual Event
We would like to invite you to participate in this virtual event which will convene speakers who will present the conditions that must be met to ensure our position as a global scientific superpower is maintained. It is the presence of people, places, productivity, and skills, backed by infrastructure and excellent transport links that make the Innovation Corridor attractive for inward investment. However, to sustain the region’s competitive advantage, we need to generate a greater focus on inward investment. Click here for details of the event and to register.
Innovation Corridor APPG
Virtual Event
We would like to invite you to participate in this virtual event which will discuss how investment in the West Anglia Mainline will enable recovery and growth - along the UK Innovation Corridor and into the East of England. This is a critical point in time to engage as the Network Rail West Anglia Medium Term Capacity Study is underway and we need to ensure that calls for investment in the West Anglia Mainline are fully considered. With this in mind, we have secured the participation of Chris Heaton-Harris MP, Minister of State for Rail. For details of the event agenda and speakers please visit https://watf2020.eventbrite.co.uk where you will also be able to book.
LSCC Conference 2021
Online
Rising to the challenge - Every year we convene an annual conference which brings together central, regional and local government, MPs, business, investors and developers as well as the key universities and colleges in the Corridor. This year we debate how we work together with the new Conservative government to ensure the Innovation Corridor delivers strong economic growth which is environmentally sustainable - particularly in science and technology - that is capable of significant and rapid scale up following the UK’s exit from the EU and in so doing contributes to the government’s ‘levelling up’ agenda
